Designed by Tony Caro and completed in 2004, Escarpment is a 5-storey building containing 20 apartments on the site of the Laboratory. Signage on site, and on the open stairway, describes the work of the Technical Research Laboratory (also known as Laboratory B and the Central Laboratory).
