From 4 October, the 443 will be replaced by a new route 389 between Pyrmont and North Bondi via the City, Paddington and Bondi Junction. It will provide access to St Vincent’s Hospital, Paddington and Bondi Junction, but no longer go to Wynyard or Circular Quay.
The 501 will travel as usual to Railway Square, then to Pitt and Barlow Streets. It will not go to Chinatown or Town Hall.
The new Pyrmont Bay ferry wharf, which will open on Tuesday 8 September, will provide access to Circular Quay. The temporary wharf is opposite The Star. The 443 from the corner of Harris and Bowman (outside Pyrmont Dental Health) will take you to either ferry stop if you prefer not to walk.
