“FATBERGS” IN JACKSONS LANDING?

A fatberg is a horrible conglomeration of fat and wipes: one as big as a double decker bus caused a sensation when it was found in London’s sewage system. This is a problem everywhere, as wipes pass from
toilets to sewage systems to waterways. They do not disintegrate like toilet paper. In the worst case, a sewage system can be disabled. Sydney Water spends $8 million a year to fix blockages caused by
wet wipes. They are sometimes advertised as flushable, but don’t rely on that!
