COMMUNITY SURVEY ON MENTAL HEALTH & PERSONALITY

Researchers at RMIT University need adult volunteers to participate in a study examining the relationship between mental health and various personality traits.

It involves undertaking an online questionnaire. You will be asked a series of simple questions such as your age, gender, educational level and employment. You will then be asked a series a questions about your emotional health, thoughts, behaviours or experiences. You will be asked to indicate whether they are like or unlike you or whether you agree or disagree with the statements. The questionnaire will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

This is the first part of a larger project to design a series of instructional videos designed to teach skills and strategies to help with stress and anxiety, negative self-talk, encourage self-awareness and self-reflection, explore meaning and purpose related values and goals and deepen compassion, empathy and connection to others.

At the end of the survey you will be asked to indicate your interest in being sent one of these instructional videos once a week for 5 weeks. You will also be asked if you are willing to do this survey again in 3-4 months. This is totally voluntary and undertaking this survey in no way obliges you to participate further.
