This festival has evolved over twenty years, to remain fresh, popular and valuable – bringing our community together, and raising funds for local charities.
The entertainments become more diverse, adding to our local community bands and choir.
And the event is managed by volunteers from Ultimo School, Pyrmont Cares, Barnardos, Harris Community Centre, Domain and many locals.

It is hugely rewarding and fun to plan and manage – but each year it becomes more complex. The logistics become trickier, as State and City officers apply more conditions,
the weather becomes less predictable – and the volunteers who plan and implement this great event are another year older!
