Jacksons Landing is a community of 2500 residents in more than 1000 apartments, terraces and townhouses on the site of the old CSR industrial complex at the northern end of the Pyrmont Peninsula. In addition there are a number of commercial buildings housing several hundred workers.
The redevelopment of the CSR site of over 11 hectares commenced in the early 1990s, and the first residents moved in during 2000. The site is now complete.
