Building Management

 

Each strata makes its own building management arrangements. Some have chosen to retain Sky Management, and some have engaged Manage Meant. Both companies have previously managed the whole of Jacksons Landing. Regatta Wharf and Mount St Walk Terraces have also engaged their own building managers from two separate companies.

The Resident Services Manager (RSM)’s role is cared for by Manage Meant who work from the Estate Management Office.  The Estate Management office on Bowman Street, on the lower ground floor of Distillery, is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday except public holidays. For urgent inquiries over Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, please see Security at the Gatehouse – 58B Bowman Street.

Community Association (CA)

Manage Meant maintains the common property and supervises services for the CA. Areas managed on behalf of owners include:

  • Cleaning
  • Building maintenance & repair
  • Landscaping
  • Waste management
  • Electronic access control
  • Annual fire services certification
  • All CA-owned facilities – the Station, the Glasshouse pool and gym, the tennis courts and the Pot Still (community meeting) room.

Nick Gardner (Manage Meant – Building Manager)

Nick has been part of the of the Jacksons Landing Manage Meant team since early 2020. Nick brings to the team his love for customer service, enthusiasm and passion for ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the upmost quality. Nick looks after:

Harrison Pearce (Manage Meant – Building Manager)

Harrison started at Jacksons Landing in late 2023. For the first 9 months of working full time at Jacksons landing, Harrison has also (somehow) managed to complete a dual degree in Arts and Economics. Managing these different responsibilities, Harrison was regularly in the office late into the night and often on weekends (attempting to match Nick Gardners hours) This is a clear example of his work ethic. Along with his skills in researching and strong intellectual abilities, Harrison enjoys helping every resident to ensure their time living in Jacksons Landing is pleasant. Harrison looks after:

Chad Green (Urban Vantage Property Group – Building Manager)

Chad has worked at Jacksons Landing for more than five years managing McCafferys Hill, Evolve, Tablet House, Fleetview and the Community Association as well as taking on the role of Estate Manager and providing services to all the buildings across the Estate before setting up his own business. He now manages multiple sites across Sydney including:

Peter Kelly (Sky Management – Building Manager)

Peter is an experienced Works Facilitator with 25 years’ experience in construction. His experience also includes over 15 years with a State-Owned Corporation (SOC) managing utilities maintenance and construction. Peter focuses on providing quality customer service to stakeholders by creating effective solutions for safety, he does this with ease using his extensive practical knowledge, as well as taking an innovative approach which was recognised in the award he won for his design and new procedures on water main electrical current safety tools that was replicated throughout Australia. Using a collaborative approach, he is focused on managing the safety and contract requirement across Sky Management’s Buildings and Contractors, as well as ensuring continuous improvement.

River (Manage Meant – Office Boss)

River is the heart and soul of the Building Management and is the main reason why residents attend the Estate Management Office. Rivers dedication and focus towards fetching tennis balls is unmatched and he is willing to chase a ball at all hours of the day.  River looks after:

  •  The mental state of all Building Managers, residents and contractors onsite

Tony Newick (Handyman)Tony

Tony has provided handyman services throughout the estate for more than 15 years.

He focuses on maintaining aspects of common property for individual strata plans and the Community Association. He supports the building managers to ensure the estate is maintained at the highest level.
