Public meeting about giving businesses 2 votes each in Council elections

Sydney City Council is hosting a public meeting about the Shooters and Fishers City of Sydney Amendment (Elections) Bill 2014 to double business voting in local government elections. Get more information here.
The meeting is supported by a broad coalition of individuals and groups, including the Independent MP for Sydney, the Labor Party, the Greens and the President of Local Government NSW.
It will be held from 11am on Saturday 6 September at Sydney Square, Town Hall.
