In June 2000, Lend Lease appointed its subsidiary, Jacksons Landing Estate Management, to look after the estate. That contract – intended to last 25 years – was deemed unconscionable, and renegotiated. In its last few months JLEM’s mediocre performance deteriorated further. When Manage Meant won the contract, they had to create a system almost from scratch. Those who remember JLEM are especially grateful for the professional and attentive service Manage Meant developed and maintained. We thank them all for their fine service.
After an exhaustive and careful tender process, the CA is finalising contract terms and conditions with Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions to replace Manage Meant, with effect from 1 July. The handover will take two months (May and June).
While we regret the departure of Manage Meant, we welcome Brookfield and hope that some seasoned staff will be retained. We expect Brookfield to maintain the high standards to which we have become accustomed.
